fuq – frequently unasked questions

q: what’s with the domain name? are you making fun of little people?

a: no, those are my initials, with a few extra vowels thrown in; it’s a nickname that happened to stick. it’s also a pronounceable dot.com under six letters, so, unless you’re the owner of yahoo.com or ebay.com, and you don’t like it, you can suck it. including you, google!

q: whatever. it makes you sound like a girly man.

a: i’m not. besides, that’s not a question.

q: why do you insist on using your middle initial, anyway? are you pretentious or something?

a: obviously, you’re not a golfer.

q: uh… right. but what about the logo? what does that say?

a: in japanese, i’m told it can be pronounced mi-ji-to, and has been translated for me as a man who knows the future. in mandarin… well, am still working on that pronunciation. but, it can be read by chinese readers as an unknown man. so, take your pick. (and thanks, sori and xu!)

q: you just won’t stop with the lowercase letters, will you?

a: no.
